Artists Residency at Hatley Park, Cambridgeshire.

 

As a place of great beauty and tranquillity Hatley Park has a long history of writers, musicians and visual artists, including Lucien Freud, staying at the house to work and draw inspiration.

 

As artist in residence in the summer of 2008 I was given a studio in the gardens and for four weeks I worked in  and around the studio focussing mainly on nature.

 

It was an incredible month of extensive drawing, painting and research that continues to feed into my work back in London.
